Full Episode Thomas & the Christmas Party

The Standard Gauge engines are very excited for Christmas. Sir Topham Hatt tells them that he is going to have a very large Christmas party at Knapford Station. The engines all have to help out. He gives them each special jobs to do for it. Will Thomas be able to complete his job?

This episode and several others from Season 2 were filmed alongside Season 1. You will notice the difference in quality, especially the 4:3 aspect ratio (square) vs. the 16:9 aspect ratio. (rectangle)

I do wish that all the season 2 episodes could've been filmed with such high quality as the narrow gauge episodes, but that was the best I had to work with when I was filming season 1. I want to thank all of you amazing fans for joining me on the great adventure of season 2. I hope you all enjoyed it. Keep checking back for more updates and news about season 3!!!

Full Episode Snowed In

Bertram is going to be all alone for Christmas like how he has been for every other Christmas. When the other little engines hear about this, they decide to have him join their Christmas celebrations, but when a snow storm hits and the quarry is snowed in, will that stop the heroic engines?

In the last post about winter episodes I explained how I used potato flakes, well when it came time to film the narrow gauge sets, I had gotten a little bit wiser. I found the layout snow that is sold almost anywhere during Christmas time and I used it instead. It was much easier to use, but had to be placed a certain way. The nice thing was that I had carefully planned which locations would be snowy, so instead of 20+ in season 1, I only had 3 in season 2.

Full Episode Gordon's Snowy Surprise

This week on the Island of Sodor, It's winter on the Island of Sodor! Everyone is busy with the winter holidays. Thomas is tired of wearing his snowplow and plowing his branchline. Gordon laughs that he never has to use one, but will Gordon have his own adventure with the snow?

Snowy/Christmas themed episodes were planned for season 2 back when I was filming season 1. I knew that I wanted some inclusion of the winter holidays. I used different methods for snow, but I'll explain that in posts about other snowy episodes.

Sights of Sodor - Snowy Quarry Junction

This week on the Island of Sodor, we journey up the line to see the snowy Quarry Junction! Watch as the little engines try to make their way through the snow by checking out the latest video!

So this is another set that is totally made by me and not a replication of any TV series set. Because of the Restored Quarry location that I made for Bertram, I needed to have a track that allowed the engines to get to the quarry. So this is what I came up with. I really like it, especially the valley look in the back.

Today's short is the little engines trying to make their way through the snow. The latter end of Season 2 will have a lot of snowy/Christmas stories so to promote those I decided to show this off. Hope you guys enjoy!
