This
week on the Island of Sodor, Rheneas reflects back on the time that he saved
the railway by bringing his passengers home, even when it didn't look like he
would make it. The other engines think that Rheneas is being quite puffed up
about himself. Later Rheneas is taking a passenger train home when something
goes wrong. Will he prove to those engines that he can bring the passengers
home again?
The story of Rheneas bringing the passengers home and being a gallant little engine, was one I always remembered when I thought of Rheneas. (However, I did think Skarloey and Rheneas were girls when I was 4 years old, but that's another story.) Rheneas was tough and able to storm through. I wanted to show that pride can even get to the best of us, like little old Rheneas. I think he learns a new lesson when bringing the passengers home, but I don't want to spoil the story. You'll just have to watch.
