This
week on the Island of Sodor, we journey up the line to see the big narrow gauge
hill! Watch as Sir Handel tries to make it up the hill by checking out the
latest video!
Everyone
knows Gordon's Hill that the standard gauge engines have to get over, so I
wanted to have a similar challenge on the narrow gauge line. So I made a hill
that the engines have to get over. So today's video is Sir Handel's experience
of trying to take a goods train over the hill.
When I made the hill it was originally a lot shorter. It was suppose to be the height of two of the Tomy yellow plastic supports. The process of making the hill was me filling the area with newspaper and covering it in Woodland Scenics plaster cloth. The newspaper ended up making the hill much taller than I thought it would be so now the hill is much more difficult than I originally planned. If you look closely at my other sets you can probably spot the hill somewhere in the background being used as scenery.
